Strike!
“Bang!”
The show had started. As they hit the drums their arms looked like spaghetti, well at least very alive spaghetti! I felt the ground vibrate underneath me. I gazed in owe as they played their rhythm, the strike group started to play a song called a tropical rainstorm and let me tell you from personal experience it sounded like a tropical rainstorm! I looked around to see everyone had a smile on their face that’s when I felt it a smile crept up my face. I have always been interested in percussion and hope one day I will be able to try it out with a group like strike. I felt jealousy for the people who got chosen but also felt happy for them at the same time! “Thump, thump, thump, bang, ling a ling!” went the drums and the symbols as the strike group played a piece of music. One of my favourite parts was when they used fire to make music it was so cool! I hope I will get to see strike in action again another year they were so awesome!!
