End of Term Reflection

End of Term 2 2017 Reflection

1. What has been the funniest, awesome, coolest achievement that has happened this term?
It would definitely have to be learning how to speak Mandarin. I have learnt songs like Head, shoulders, knees and toes.  Tracy is a fun teacher and has helped us so much with this new language. Each time we learn a new word she makes sure all of us are pronouncing it correctly before moving on.
2. What progress have you made with your reading, writing, inquiry and maths learning this term? Provide evidence and examples of your thinking.
With reading I have improved with answering questions about the text, I know this because I haved moved up a few levels in reading theory. In writing I have improved with using descriptive words like gloomy, creepy, shrieking, sparkly Etc. For inquiry I have gotten better at researching and using the keywords I know this because I have shortened how long my slides are for my presentations. In maths I have have inproved in all sorts of areas, the area I am most proud of is my algebra learning. At the start of the year I had no clue what algebra really was. I have completed loads of tasks in an algebra booklet and surprised myself with the results I got.
3. What are your aspirations for term 3?
I have been part of the fan dancing group this term. We have preformed a dance and are now on the way to learning a new one called the Jasmine Flower. I am going to put my best efforts into this dance.
4. Who is one ‘new’ person you would like to sit next to next term?
Probably a boy like Oscar, Sameer and Ollie. They are fun and serious at the same time they also focus well.
5. What is your goal for home-learning next term?
I don’t do home learning
6. What can your teacher do to support your progress and learning in term 3?
Well for starters it would be nice if all of the activities stayed fun. If she sees that I am struggling with a certain topic she could give me a lesson on that topic and help me understand more.
